Thanks to the professional and personalized attention in private lessons, rapid progress is guaranteed. As a beginner, you'll be gliding down the slopes in no time; as an advanced rider, you'll work on your technique and style. You’ll certainly notice that the private lessons have an immediate impact on your riding experience. Private lessons can be booked on weekdays in the afternoons and all day on weekends.

How many private lessons should I book at once?

How many private lessons should I book at once?

For young children (under 6 years old) or if you're unsure, we recommend not booking too many private lessons (duration and number of days) in advance. Booked lessons are non-refundable. As a starting point, we recommend 55 minutes for toddlers.

For children aged 6 and older and adults, we recommend booking at least 85 minutes per lesson and per day.

What teaching system is used?

We teach according to the "Swiss Snow League" system by the Swiss Association Swiss Snowsports. The course goals can be found here.

 

What equipment do I need?

Required equipment: snowboard, snowboard boots, warm (fitted) ski suit, and gloves. A good pair of sunglasses or goggles and proper sun protection are also a must. A helmet, wrist guards, and a back protector are not mandatory but are highly recommended.

The rental of equipment is not included in the course fee and can be rented at one of the local sports shops upon your arrival (link to the Partner / Sports Shops section).

Important information

  • Absence: If you are unable to attend the booked lessons, please inform your ski instructor or the ski school office as early as possible (Phone: +41 27 470 25 10, from 08:15 AM).

  • Course Operation: If the ski resorts Snowpark Sportarena or Torrent are closed due to force majeure (e.g., avalanche danger or storm), you will be informed daily from 08:15 AM on our website, the Leukerbad info channel (TV), or at your accommodation's reception.
