Questions about the lessons
How old a child must be at least to be able to take part in lessons?
Children from 2.5 years may attend classes.
What the children have to bring to the lesson?
The children have to wear glasses (if possible sun- and storm glasses), warm and dry clothes, gloves, etc. In addition, the children in the group of 3 hours per day may bring approximately CHF 15.00 money per week for the little break.
The children in the group of 2 hours per day don’t need to bring any money. The Snow sports School will provide something for the children.
How far is it from the ski area Erli to the cable car Gemmi and Torrent?
From the ski area Erli it takes about 5 minutes walking to the cable car Gemmi and about 15 minutes to Torrent.
How can I pay for the lessons?
As payment we accept CHF, EURO and Reka check as cash. In the ski school office we accept Eurocard / Mastercard, Maestro, Visa , Postcard and Reka Card. Euro is price indication, calculation on daily exchange rate.
What happens to the booked lessons after an accident?
Tickets will only be reimbursed in case of injury or illness only upon presentation of a medical certificate of a doctor from Leukerbad and only the difference will be reimbursed. Course canceled due to weather (force majeure) will nether be replaced nor reimbursed. We recommend making a ski school adverse weather insurance. A transfer / credit to a next season is not possible.
What happens if there are less than four persons for the group?
If this minimum number of persons is not reached, the group reduced to 2 participants, the Snow sports School reserves the right to combine or to shorten the lesson.
Are there any discounts if we by several days of ski lessons?
If you buy 5 half days of ski lessons as a weekly ticket you get a discount compared with the purchase of individual days.
What does Swiss Snow League mean, and what good does it mean to me at the Snow sports School?

Does it need insurance?
Arrangements for accident and liability insurance are cause of the participants. The Snow sports School declines all responsibility for accidents occurring before, during or after lessons.
Questions about lift and day tickets / subscriptions
Are lift tickets included in ski lessons?
For Mosquito and Snowli ski lessons the lift tickets are included at the ski area Erli. On Torrent and Gemmi lift tickets are not included. All tariffs of the ski area Erli you find here here >>
Where can I buy subscriptions for the ski area Torrent and the ski area Erli?
At Leukerbad tourism and Torrent cable railway you can buy the subscription for Torrent. Lift tickets for the ski area Erli you can buy at the station in Erli next to the Sports Arena.
What happens to the subscription after an accident?
Deposit your subscription immediately at the railway station and ask for the conditions / terms of reimbursement.

Sunglasses and sunscreen
We recommend wearing good sunglasses and appropriate sunscreen (high protection factor for the mountains!). Do not forget to put a warm headdress (helmet).
Does my child need a helmet for ski lessons?
Brilliant Minds protect themselves. We recommend wearing a helmet for skiing and snowboarding. The children in the Swiss Snow Kids Village are properly tightened with a helmet.
What should I wear on the snow-shoe tour?
Hiking or Trekking shoes, a kind of ski pants (no jeans), anorak, gloves, cap, sunscreen, backpack with food and shirt / sweater for change. We provide you with snowshoes and poles.
